Leadership in Tech Episode 64: Comparing Cultures, Pt. 1
In today’s episode Zac and Errol compare the cultures of the FBI and the Navy SEALs, concentrating more on the FBI and different problems he encountered in that culture. This is part one of a 2 part series comparing the cultures, with part 2 concentrating on the positive aspects of the FBI culture.

02:45: Zac and Errol talk about the topic for todays episode and recap season 3 so far. They talk about the theme of the episodes so far, and the continuing theme of culture in today’s episode. Specifically, they start off comparing Navy SEAL and FBI culture to each other.
10:47: Errol talk about what he brought from the SEAL teams to the FBI, how it helped him, and ultimately why it led to him not wanting to be a part of that culture anymore.
13:03: Errol talks about working the gang unit in the FBI, and the generally safer way to take down a drug gang or other kind of gang, and then the riskier way that helps snag bosses.
20:17: The types of risks associated with SEAL culture are compared to those of the FBI that Errol discussed in regards to different types of FBI employees or associates. Errol also discusses the FBI reaction to change and how they view pushing themselves physically compared to the SEAL teams.
